Exclamation Arizona Twin Bill Update

As most of you know by now, our wonderful Governor Napolitano VETOED the bill that we had worked so hard to get passed a few months ago. We did not have 2/3's majority to override. Long story short, I was able to organize a meeting at the Governor's office with her Education Policy Advisor. We will be meeting next week on the 16th. Several parents and researchers have written letters that we will be taking with us to the meeting. We are hoping to find a sponsor for the next legislative session which begins in November. Once we have a sponsor for the bill, we will begin the process all over. Our hope is that this meeting with the Governor's office will keep a "VETO" from happening again next year. We are also hoping that we can move the bill along faster. Keep the support, letters, and phone calls going to show your support. If you are willing to help out or share your story please contact myself or Kathy Dolan at www.twinslaw.com. I will keep you informed as we go.

Sincerely,
Heather Lombardo
