Anyone else getting them? I'm getting horrible headaches. They come on everyday at about lunch time and get worse and worse as the day goes on. They are so bad that I am almost not able to function. I've tried Tylenol a few times and it doesn't help at all. I just want to lay in a cold dark room. I've been going to bed around 9 or 9:30pm because of them, which is very early and unusual for me. I haven't had this with my other pregnancies. I was wondering if anyone else is getting headaches or had any suggestions on how to get them to stop?

YES! I wake up every day with a headache, and if miraculously I don't have one then, I develop one by the afternoon. I called my doctor about it and she recommended taking a Claritin D along with Tylenol and it works! I was concerned about taking both every day, but she ensured me that both Claritin D and tylenol were ok to take daily. She also said that typically between 16 and 22 weeks, we have higher progesterone, and this could lead to headaches. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that once I hit the 22 week mark (I'm currently at 20 weeks), they will disappear (especially since they seemed to come on around the 16 week mark...)

Thanks! I definitely might try that. These are killing me. Last night one of my other kids woke me up at about 1:30am and my head started hurting immediately. Urrr!! Mine started coming on around 12wks or so. I'm 14 now. I haven't had these with my other pregnancies, not even my first twin pregnancy. I know I've read this is common, but it's not fun and I wasn't expecting it.

I am also getting headaches, they are on the border of a migraine. I have also tried tylenol, but when the medication wears off the headaches come back. I started getting mine around 15-16 weeks, I am currently 17 weeks. Thanks for the suggestion I am going to have to try that. Hope everyone's headaches goes away soon!!

I have had them, but not lately. I would just try and drink a ton, since most of us don't get enough water during the day and being even slightly dehydrated can cause them. Also, if you have an especially bad one try a coke or something, a bit of caffeine might just kick it in the rear. Good luck!

A coke would help mine, but only sometimes. And, FYI, I am now going on 22 weeks and (knock on wood...) I'm not getting daily headaches anymore!! Woo hoo!!!!
