Default counceling?

anyone else doing counceling for there marrage?
hubby and i have been at eachothers throats since the girls have been born. and now even moreso since we found out we are expectingh again and my chances of going back to work are nill, and with the added expence of everything money so so tight that when we pay all the bills there is just about nothing left over....

counceling is helping, but there is still stress...

so what sort of counceling is working for you guys? or is it just a fight it out thing with your family?

I really have nothing constructive to say, but I did want to say that I am glad to hear you all are going to counseling, I know so many couple that have made huge turn arounds through counseling. I almost think it should be mandatory after having kids, especially twins or multiples.

Money issues are the worst, and can be so stressful. We have had to do a lot of adjusting with our lifestyle since having twins, not fun.

I hope that things get better and that the counseling continues to help.

I'm glad to hear you're doing counseling, too. Dh and I didn't when our first daughter was born, but our marriage was certainly strained. It did get better as she got older. I had no idea having one baby could be so hard on a couple, so I'm sure two babies are extra hard. We were very irritable with each other for a long time, and DH said things all the time that really hurt my feelings. I've been trying to talk to him about the hurtful things before the babies are born so we can maybe avoid some of the problems we had before. I hope you and your husband can hang in there....it does get better.
