Default Baby girl's name

Is there anyone out there good at picking names???

We had Troy and Tori picked for our babies but since we have been introduced to 2 neighborhood dogs named Tori in the last month we have decided not to go with Tori.

Her name does not have to start with a T. Although I kind of would like to find a name that I really like that only has one syllable like brother's Troy and Blake.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks so much
grace

I have always liked girls names that can be shortened to boys names, like:
Alexandra (Alex) my dd name, Samantha (Sam), Francesca (Frankie), etc.
If my new baby was a girl she was going to be Francesca. I also love Gabriella, Isabella, Abigail and Savannah. Sorry, I just realized you had mentioned one syllable names and these definitely aren't, lol!!!

Default Tara? Tia?

Tara has many unique spellings you could use. Or Tia?

Default I love picking out baby names!

Okay, here are some:

Troy and Terra**good combination
Troy and Faith
Troy and Paige
Troy and Tierre
Troy and Allison
Troy and Claire
Troy and Jacy
Troy and Kalyn
Troy and Teri

Or Trevor is a good boys' name

I was going to name girls Allison Jean and Kelly Jo, but I had boys.

I went to school with three girls whose names all started with T's: Tappi, Tierre and Tyelle. My son goes to school with a family of T's: Tom, Tina, Taylor, Taryssa and Taryn.

GOOD LUCK!

Default Girls with a "T"

A good friend of mine named her daughter Tessa, and they call her Tess. I think that's very sweet.

Since I have all boys, it's fun to think of girls' names. Good luck!

Default Hello again

I just checked a web site, babycenter.com and it has a choice to pick number of syllables in a name, so here are a few more:

Hope
Jill (I like Jillian)
Blythe
Dawn
Jade (popular right now)

and some other more old fashioned or ethnic names like Sue, Ann, Fay, etc. but you could try that site.

Good luck!

Okay, I love the name Troy too. People sometimes call Trey Troy and I don't mind at all. With two kind of unique name, I get tired of correcting people. Tanner often gets called Tyler or Taylor aswell.

My vote is still for Sage. I think it's so cute for a girl.
Blake, Troy and Sage!

Seeing as how you want a one syllable name... my favorites (besides my girls' names) are out: Sabrina and Madeline.

But Claire seems to be a popular name this year.
