9 Month Check-Ups

[1st Timer]

Well, my boys are nine months old now. Unbelievable! So they went to the pediatrician last week for the check-up and he was really pleased with them.

Kane is 27 inches long, weighs 15 lbs & 4 ozs. His length is now on the growth chart and his weight is still just barely under it. Kane gained 4 inches and 3 pounds in 3 months.

Jasper is 27 1/2 inches long, weighs 18 lbs & 9 ozs. His length is barely on the growth chart and his weight is in the 25th percentile. Jasper gained 2 inches and 3 pounds in 3 months.

This is really exciting for me since they were born 11 weeks early, so they are in major catch-up mode this year and next. By the time they are 2 years old, they should be pretty well caught up to a full-term baby.

I know many of you will be having your nine month check-ups soon too, so let us know how they are doing!!

Yea for a great appointment! Seems like your boys are growing well. I'm so happy that they are doing great now...they've come a long way! They are not still on any machines, right?

We will not have our 9 month appt until the beginning of December because of the Thanksgiving holidays. But I'm excited to see how they are doing!

I did weigh them last night, and Jack weighted (are you ready?).....23lbs!! Ian was behind him at 19lbs.

Thats really good Eden. The boys really have come a long way. And I love that picture, I always smile when I see it.

Eden, those are great weights for being so early. We go for our 9 month visit in 2 weeks, but I just weighed my boys the other day and they are 18lbs & 19lbs, both 28.5in.

We never did the infant carseats. We had one from Seth and would have used it if we only had one baby (but we had TWO!!)...so I hated to buy one more infant carrier and then two convertible seats a few months later. So they still fit fine rear-facing in those. But I'm very excited to flip those car seats around when they turn a year!
