Default Combi Twin Stroller

Hi,

I was wondering if any of you have the combi twin stroller, and whether you like it or not. At what age did you start using it with your twins? Also, is it compatible to put a stand on the back for my son?
Thanks,
Michelle

Hi Michelle,
I have this combi -
http://www.babyage.com/products/7285...campaign=40389

Anyways, I bought this when my girls were about 8 months old. I started out w/the double snap n go stroller (loved it), then got the Baby Jogger City Series Double (still loving it), and then got the Combi. The reason I got the combi was just b/c although the jogger fits through everywhere it weighs about 37 pounds and doesn't fold that compactly. So, i got the combi for going to the mall, stores, etc... but use the jogger for outdoor trips and LONG trips. The combi is nice, it is very lightweight, folds nicely, etc.... It pushes nice but again, not as nice as the jogger. It does work fine though indoors on smooth surfaces. As far as putting a stand on it (i assume you are talking about a Kiddie Board??) I thought those were for use on jogging strollers? I'm not sure though. For some reason that is what I was thinking though. Maybe you could contact Combi or the maker of the board directly and ask? Good Luck!

Love my Combi I bought it when they were 11 months and use it all of the time. It is lightweight and fits through all doorways. I don't think a kiddie board would work

I like ours. We haven't had it very long, so I don't know about longevity. We traveled to Florida with it and it was in the airports. So easy to fold up and unfold.

ETA: we have the twin sport 2

I have the Combi Twin Savvy Ex. I Love it! I would suggest the Ex or the LX so that you get the bar and cupholders for the babes. They do come in handy.

I'm also looking at the combi twin stroller and I read on their site that it can be used right from birth because the seats fully recline.

I have a secondhand Combi, I'm not sure if its the Savvy or the Sport model, its blue with some sort of small pattern (I want to say cubes or diamonds?). Anyway, my mom picked it up at a yard sale for $35. I loved it at first, but now that the boys are bigger, 18 and 20 lbs, it steers horribly! It seems rickety, like because its so lightweight it isn't very sturdy. And the front wheels go where they want to. I used to be able to steer it one-handed last year, and its not like I used it a ton-I didn't even use it all winter (6 months long here) because I knew it wouldn't handle the snow, and it just isn't holding up for the cost IMO. It could be because its secondhand and a couple years old, but I think for $200+ dollars, you should be getting something better than this. Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of great features, but if it won't steer where you want it to go, its not worth it. I spend the whole time I'm using it fighting with it, its frustrating. I think the Jeep double umbrella handles better and seems sturdier, and its only about $90 new.

we just bought the combi twin savvy ex & so far i love it (babies are 7 1/2 months old)!! it handled much better than the others we test drove at BRU. and it was on clearance for like $120!! both seats fully recline. it folds up easily & is lightweight. and the canopies go all of the way to down to the snack tray bar, so it really helps when it windy or raining!!
