what do you do when kids go to bed? dh goes down to watch basketball and Im up here watching tv or playing on twin board..if you tell me you have whoopie Im going to be jealous. also I read magazines and stay up here making sure the kids are not needing me..they are in the room next to me here. Dh makes his way back up here about 11pm and falls into bed fast asleep. what do you do knit or...

I clean the house, read a book, prepare for the next day's lessons, browse the internet, various chores, watch the news..... mainly cleaning though :rolleyes:

Dh works nights so I'm alone half the nights. The other nights we watch a movie together, play cards, make whoopie, sometimes he'll watch tv while I read a book but whatever we do we do side by side.

I clean up, rotate the toys, fold laundry, talk to DH, listen to my teenager talk to me and help him if I can. I call my two grown up kids who have moved away. I write the bills.

If there is any time left, and usually there isn't these days (hence my absence here most nights), I watch a videotape or a DVD or I am here on the message board.

I don't know about you, but I wish my husband would leave me alone! LOL. The kids go to bed at 7:30.

I was told that instead of cleaning and stuff at night, it's the time to wind down so I can get to bed earlier. So I check what the weather will be like the next day, lay out the kids clothes accordingly, I proof some photos, go online, chat with some friends for a bit, take a shower, get in bed and fight off my husband - sometimes he wins. :love:

I do my cleaning in the morning after I drop the girls off at school (7:30 am) and usually get it done by 10:00 or 11:00 depending on how bad the house got when everyone else comes home the day before. So I take an hour or 2 nap before I pick up the kids from school at 2:00.

I forgot to add that sometimes when my husband aren't on the computers, we will cuddle up on the couch and watch our favorite shows or a movie together before we go to bed.
