preschool all day anyone?

Ok, I dont work well you know I work raising the kids..dh says I dont work anyhow..my girls are in preschool three full days 9-330 and my son four days 9-330 I will admit it...I had to do it to save my sanity. Anyone else with kids in school this much at this young age..while I am at home there is plenty of work to do..cleaning, organizing, you name it..so Im not just laying around eating bon bons all day..how about you..

My kids go to preschool from 7:30-2. I love it since it gives me time to myself. I love to crank up the stereo and do my chores uninterupted. I also love, love, love...to go to the gym.

The kids are out of school this week for spring break...which is nice too. I get to sleep in :snicker:

My girls just turned 4 a few weeks ago and they will be starting pre school in the fall, they will be going 3 days a week from 9:15-2:30pm..

I think it is good for pre school age children to attend school, it helps get them ready for kindergarten. Plus, going all day helps get them used to it, especially here because kindergarten is all day...

I agree with you, there is always something that needs attention at home or needs to get done!!

My 4 are in school 3 mornings a week from 9am-12pm. I did it for my sanity too!!! Plus it gives me time to run errands, clean up, etc. Not to mention they love it so much I'm glad I decided to send them.

my girls go to school M-F from 7:30 - 2:00. I LOVE it. But since Spring Break where I had them home for a week, I realized how much I missed having them home and doing stuff with them during the day, like taking them to a farm to feed the animals and what not. But the summer is fast approaching so yay! But then boooo, Kindergarten. They are growing too fast.

My girls are in junior kindergarten. Its all day every day although we did not start our girls out going everyday all day. It was alot for them to adjust to and all day every day was too much intially.
We still do our 1/2days 1-2 times in the week and now with the nicer weather, its going to be nice to pick them up and go for a picnic and park.

I'm not ready for them to be gone all the time either, and kindergarten this fall they will have to go all day every day!

Hey Kelly! I was very ready in the beginning to have them at school full time, but I cheat and keep them home some days and say they had a fever or bad allergies when I feel like keeping them with me. :snicker: I MISS THEM sometimes! But I've been trying my hardest not to let them be absent anymore. I know it's just pre K but I don't want them to miss out on too much of the fun art projects and things they could learn.
