We were driving back from Target last night and Isabella told me out of the blue she wants a Princess birthday party. Rachel replied " I want an Under The Sea party with Nemo and Dori" Isabella replies "NO, Princess party" Rachel insisted on her Sea Party. Finally Isabella says to her " Princess Party and thats it, shhhhhush that is what we are having". I could not help but laugh:snicker:

Thats so funny. My boys could careless what they had at their party, they just wanted a BIRTHDAY party. They are the youngest in their preschool class so there have been lots of birthdays and they kept asking when was their birthday??? Finally when the day came they were super excited.
Although, I was waiting for one of them to say that it was only their birthday that day and not the other, never happened they were happy sharing their birthday.
We did have two parties though(which was this weekend) and I think they are finally getting back on their schedule.
Looks like you will have fun planning a two themed party. :cloud9:

Wow, your post got me thinking. This has not happened yet, but I am sure it will. My boys are so different, I imagine, they will want different themes someday. Their birthday is in May, if comes a time this year or any other that they cannot agree on a theme, I will have decorate 1/2 and 1/2. To me it is only fair b/c if they were a singleton, they would get to pick their theme. I think I am getting them separate cakes this year too.

They really make me laugh lately! They bicker like two old ladies. There are so many likes and dislikes between them. Yea, I will figure out a way to do it this year. I will probly end up mixing it up with princesses and fish, Ariel, Flounder, Nemo etc... whatever they like. I am going to do two cakes this time as well one likes chocolate and the other strawberry and decorate them different.

Too cute...I was just telling one of the moms on my BMT that I think we are going to hearing alot of funny things coming out of our kids this next year!
I asked the boys what they wanted and showed them pictures and it was between Curious George and Thomas the Tank...we ended up going with Thomas, but they agreed on it. It'll be interesting when that's not the case...
Good luck, keep us posted with what you decide on!

Funny, just this weekend my twins celebrated their 4th b'day. The theme was princesses and fire trucks. Try melding those two together! :funny: I did a princess cake for DD and a fire trucks cake for DS. The goodie bags were filled with a mixture (fire truck badges and little firefighter figures, a candy bracelet, and stickers of each theme, etc.). DH took the kids out to choose a big mylar balloon each (I had already checked and iParty had both a firetruck one and several princess ones). They ended up coming home with a unicorn balloon and a Mater balloon! But they sure were happy. We had the party for them at their gymnastics academy. Whatever you end up doing, they will be more psyched for the actual party and less concerned about the theme.
Good luck!

That's cute! :snicker:
I have never done a themed birthday party before, but if the kids wanted that, I would try to incorporate both themes into their birthday party.
Cute! That's funny that they are so different. Mine bicker a LOT, but they usually end up agreeing when it's over
Mine asked for a pink birthday...a pink rectangle (yes, they specified the shape) cake with pink, purple and white sprinkles, pink heart candles (fortunately I was able to find some) and chocolate ice cream. The plates, napkins, cups, etc. are all plain pink. I took them to the party store and tried with all my might to convince them to either do pink with maybe purple of white napkins or something to liven it up. Or one of their favorite characters. But no go. So, pink it is. This may be the easiest and cheapest birthday theme I ever have to do, so I'll just go with it! :snicker:

That is so cute! Well, you know who wears the pants in that twin relationship! Bella is the boss in her twin relationship with Cole...she even convinces him to order the same thing as her in restaurants!
