He always has a question about something he knows the answer to.
Like you bought this mom? Knowing full well he picked it out and I bought it or Santa brought it for C/mas etc etc..and he'll ask the same question over and over :banghead:
Please tell me this is a phase  Although I am talking about Eli - so if this IS a phase then I have two more to go through :stress: :snicker:

What did you say? :ear:
Sorry - I couldn't hear you over Jaxon.
 He talks non-stop. I felt bad for Cat when we were talking yesterday - Jaxon kept talking over her.

Tracy - the bad news is that I am not sure it's a phase...mostly because it's been going on for almost two years now with Emily and there's no end in sight at this point...but the good news is that with twins (at least with my twins) Sam rarely gets a word in edgewise so it's not necessarily going to be twice as bad with R and L!

I'm right there with you! These two don't stop talking. I think I notice it more because we've been housebound lately.

Not many dull moments here either. :snicker: Haley just turned five, but all three of our girls are chatterboxes. If they run out of something to say they will make something up.

Yes, Savannah is...imagine that  Hunter is actually pretty shy & it takes him a bit to warm up to people, but Savannah doesn't know a stranger. :snicker:

All three of mine talk constantly. They try to drown each other out, and they constantly interrupt anyone who is already talking. They just never stop. I literally never get a moment's silence until they are in bed, unless I throw on a video for them, which I often do when I have had ENOUGH.
And I am right with you on the "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy" part. Either that, or saying the same thing over and over, until one of us will say "I heard you the first time"

All the time. But I am happy about it. My older kids are big talkers, and I am wondering when they'll begin to clam up as they enter their teens.:(
I like knowing what's going on, whether it's preschool drama or middleschool drama.

 This is our house now. I LOVE it (as long as it is not whining/yelling/screaming). I waited a long time for it.

Hugs, mama. We are lucky.

I think it depends on the personality of the child.
My twins talk a lot, but not constantly.
My middle child, who is now 17, became increasingly talkative after he turned five, and he has not stopped talking yet. (It is good to have a teenager who tells you what's going on. I should count my blessings instead of complaining.)

Mine aren't 4 but they will be 3 on Friday.
T- my boys don't talk all the time, but there thing now is if they say Mommy Mommy a couple of times and I don't answer they have taken to calling me by my first name!!!!!! They do this to DH it's so funny but we tell them that they need to call us Mommy and Daddy they like oh okay. So the other night when DH came home, I said hi honey. Now with DH they alternate between his first name and calling him honey. Yeah, I've got two stinkers on my hands.

AAAAALLLLLL the time! It seems to be more of a personality thing than a stage. Some of mine chatter chatter chatter and others are more reserved with their words and only use them when they actually have something important to say. The chatterboxes are pretty sure EVERY thought they have is profound and extremely important to say RIGHT NOW and every 30 seconds for the next 10 minutes as well :snicker:
Franky just repeats 'Mama (what?) Mama (what) Mama (What do you need?) Mama (FRANKY, what do you want to say?) Mama (Franky) Mama (Franky) Mama (Franky) Mama (You're hurting my ears) Mama (Go play please) Mama ('the stare') Mama, I love you! (I love you too) Mama........ :faint:
The other chatterboxes just chatter chatter chatter nonstop and THEY DON'T TAKE TURNS! :faint: They just get louder and louder to be heard over the others.
:run: Jonny is 12 and still hasn't outgrown it  I told dh just yesterday that our english lesson next week is going to be 'runon sentences'. :lmao: He'll spend 15 minutes telling you all about how he walked to the mail box. Describing every step in detail :faint: Wonder where he gets that from
