Esp if you have b/gtwins - how many still bathe together?

I am still bathing all three together, but for lack of space in the tub I think we will need to split them up.

Yep! I have B/B, but they like playing in the tub together, and it's rare that one will take one without the other.

It used to not be that way...for whatever reason, they were afraid of the tub and I had to wash one kid at a time...one hand to wash and the other hand to keep them in the tub.

I still bathe all three of mine together occasionally, but not very often anymore. Like you said, our tub is not big enough to hold them all anymore. But it is much more convenient to get the baths all over with at once and the kids still love it. So we do it on some baths.

I'm on the wrong board but..

Sometimes all four of mine get in there together  :sardines:

My older kids still bath together sometimes and they are really old - 6yo and 8yo.

Mine are all boys though so I've never thought about the b/g factor.

Mine bathe together. Franky, Andy, and David usually bathe together, sometimes Rose will get in with them but she likes bubblebaths and David and Andy can't have bubbles (they eat them :vomit:).

Jonny and Josh are 12 and 8 and shower together. :nono: I would not have my dd's showering with the older boys though. They supervise for short times during Rose's bath if I'm called away but not WITH her.

I think our 'cutoff age' for opposite gender set ITSELF at around age 5/6. That's when the boys started getting more private about themselves and the girls more curious about others. It's also the age Tiff was when she came here to live. We had to set specific 'appropriate contact' boundaries for her so to be fair everyone else followed the same stricter boundaries. So that likely rushed it a little for us. I don't think by much though. Age 5/6 also seems to be the age range they all decided they were 'too big' to go skinny dipping in the kiddy pool outside as well. :snicker:

It's common practice to have 4 at a time in the tub here also :snicker: When the rest of the kids were here I did assembly line style every Sunday before church. :lmao: I wish I'd had a video camera! Some of the chaos and solutions we had... they were practical at the time but looking back we must have looked hysterical to anyone looking on.

My b/g twins are almost 4 and are still bathing together. It's definitely getting crowded though, but I like the 2 for 1 bath efficiency! I think I'll stick with it a bit longer though.

Ma I can just picture your house at bath time :faint: :snicker: :p:

I am thinking that Eli will 5 in a few months I will take Lissa out and leave the boys together....
The twins are the only ones really curious at this point...Lissa points and pulls on Reagans 'noodle' at times and Reagan always seems to point out that his 'noodle' is 'standing up'

The 3 youngest ones bathe together. Jarrod is very much like your Reagan, Tracy; he always comments about his penis being taller than his brothers and how Laney has a "china".

my girls still bathe together, but there's not really an issue when they are the same sex, i guess!! they sometimes want their own baths, but I put my foot down solely b/c of the inconvenience to ME (bad mommy!!)

My b/g twins still bathe together and sometimes I'll just have all 4 kids bathe together. But mostly I split them up so the younger twins (b/b) bathe first and then the older twins (b/g) go next so things don't get too chaotic, esp if I'm bathing them alone, if DH isn't home.

We're already had several talks about "why does Cole's peepee stick out?" and stuff like that...I thought they were too young for these kinds of discussions but apparently not!!

Well after tonight I think I will bathe Lissa alone. She and Reagan were bathing together and she yanks on Re's pee pee and then they are laying across one another so I think it's time to bathe her alone- there goes all my convenience :o:

Yes, mine still bathe together.

We are almost to the point where they don't cause The Great Flood. There HAS to be a couple good years between The Great Flood and private baths. Hour-long showers behind locked doors are the next thing after that, so I am in no hurry to encourage separate baths.

The twins usually love to bathe together. Sometimes dd jumps in but she is starting to get to the age she does not want her baby brothers seeing her naked.

We still have the girls together. I bathed my older 3 until ds was around 7 or so I think....it just got too crowed!
