How old were your twins?

My twin boys are now 8 months old and we are moving them to their own room now. How old were your twins when you moved them to their own room? Did you put them in the same crib or separate? Tonight will be their first night that they are not in the co-sleeper next to me and I'm already pacing the halls. Although we have the monitor, I know I won't get much sleep for worrying about them. These are our first. Any good mommy tips?

My babies were five months old when we moved them out of our room. I was over exhausted because the babies were waking up every 20 minutes. So we took them out of our room and put them in the same crib.
They are sleeping much better, and so are we. My babies are 9 months old now.

With all my kids, once they outgrew the cradle they moved into a crib in another room. We put the twins off a couple extra months so I could clean out the office/craft room which was going to be their room, so they were about 7 months. They had been sleeping through the night. We put them in 2 separate cribs and they have slept great in them since. They were #3 & #4, so I wasn't too worried. Just kept the baby monitor on.

Mine sleptin the PNP in our room until about 3 months and outthey went.None of us were sleeping well. They went into one crib togther and then finally their own cribs at 4 months. OUr house is really small so I can hear them without even a baby monitor (we still have one anyways:) ) They will do great.

My girls have ALWAYS been in their own room and in their own seperate cribs. This always worked for us and from what I hear and read it seems the earlier you do it, the better! I hope you get some well deserved sleep!!

Our girls were in our room until they were 3 months old. They shared a crib until they were 6 months old. That is when they started touching one another and keeping each other awake or waking the other up. We have our monitor on. We also do one last check before we go to bed for the night. Helps us to know they are alright.
