How many weeks b/4 gender can be seen

How many weeks were you when they were able to tell the gender of your baby(ies)?

I have an ultrasound in 4 weeks and am wondering if they'll be able to see anything at that time.

I think they told me at 17 weeks, but I could be wrong. Goodluck!

I found out at 16 weeks and there were no question about it....2 boys.

We saw it at 18wks.

Absolutely! We found out at 16 weeks. I think, for obvious reasons, you could def. tell if it was a boy by then! :)

they told me at 16 weeks I was probably having two boys. :rolleyes:

genitals are not really well enough defined until 19+ weeks really.

I've read in some books that they can sometimes tell as early as 13 weeks but i'm sure if you wait until 16 or 17 weeks you'll get a positive answer.

I was 14 when they first told me that they think it's two girls, but we have another u/s on the 18th of Dec. and we'll have them look again to see if they see two girls again, and by then I'll be 18 weeks...

I didn't find out until 18weeks BUT when i was in there at 12 weeks there was a girl and at 12weeks they were able to see 1 was a boy for her At the time I was so jealous that they saw so early! So i would say its possible to see sooner but more acurate results futher down! :funny:

they told me that it was a girl(not sure)and a boy(definitly)at 15 weeks but at my 18 week level 2 they said 2 boys.

We found out at 20 weeks...two girls...no question. I think you can find out earlier though...14 or 16.

I was 16 or 17 weeks when we found out but we waited another 4 weeks for the next one just to be sure. But the tech was 98% sure they were boys.
