Can someone please describe BH contractions to me? And when I may expect to start feeling them? This is my first pregnancy, thanks!:)

Congrats on your twin pregnancy!! BH contractions are a painless tightening of the uterus. So if you are having one and you touch your belly, it will feel hard like a basketball for a few seconds then it will loosen up. You will have more of them if you don't drink enough water and too many of them can lead to preterm labor so make sure to drink LOTS of water!! You may not feel them until you get a little bigger, like around 16 wks but you could have them at any point really. With Twin pregnancies the uterus will measure between 6 and 10 weeks ahead. Like I am 22 weeks right now but the size of my uterus measures 32 weeks. I started having them at 12 weeks, and I still have them all the time, but mostly at night when I am not moving around alot and sometimes if I am on my feet for too long. Good luck and let us know if you have any more questions!!!!

I pretty much would have said the same thing.
I've been feeling them more now than ever but I don't remember having them with my son until I was about 7 months preg.
My Doc said as long as there are no more than 4 in an hour you should be fine.
I get two or three in one hour and then I don't get them again for hours. I usually get them when I have to pee really bad or when I have been sitting still for a while and then get up suddenly.

My BH contrax started at about 18 weeks. It felt like a boa constrictor was squeezing around my tummy, especially the top part. My whole tummy would get really hard and it was difficult to breathe.
