Hi
I am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant with twins! Came as a huge shock they do not run in either mine or my boyfriends family. This was our last child we already have 3 so looks like 5 now LOL we will be needing a mini bus for family outings etc!!!
Can anyone tell me if they got stomach pains and back ache really badly with their twin pregnancy? I didn't get any symptoms quite so badly with other pregnancies. My breasts also feel like mike tyson has done 10 rounds on them they absolutely ache!!!
It is funny as i have a week feeling sick for 24 hours then a week feeling heartburn etc! Had only sickness with son and only heartburn with daughter so think i may be having one of each!! They are in different sacks and have their own placentas - i got an early scan as i had suffered some bleeding! It was all fine though seemingly they burrowed into the same place in the womb and caused a little bruising! seeing two little heartbeats certainly makes you feel extremely lucky and special!!
Thanks
Marie

Congratulations! It is so exciting to find out you're having twins when it's the last thing in the world you would have expected. 2 sacs and 2 placentas are the best situation when having twins. I have found that all of your pregnancy symptoms will be very exaggerated compared to your singleton pregnancies. Best of luck to you.

Congrats on the pregnancy! Twins sure are fun!
I too had much more MS than with my single pregnancies!!! It did go away after awhile, so hang in there!

Congratulations on your twins!
I too have had severe MS, I even had to take zofran for it. I didn't have any MS with my daughter - none at all. I am having a boy and a girl, and I have had heartburn too. My babies' placentas are fused, but they do have their own sac as well. Good luck!

Wow, we have a lot in common. My DH and I always planned on 4 children and like you, it looks like it will be 5. I haven't heard many others complain about sore breasts but mine are sooo sore. That usually cleared up by 13 weeks with my other pregnancies but not this time. The morning sickness was bad for me too but now the problem is more with heartburn and acid reflux. I didn't have that until much later with my 3rd pregnancy. Oh it's going to be a long road. I don't know what I'm having yet but they are identical so will be 2 of the same. How old are you're other children? Mine will be 7, 5 and 2 1/2 when the babies are born in March (or February).

Welcome to the club!
I had less MS than I did with my son but I had body pains, heart burn and fatigue a lot sooner and A LOT worse than with my son.
I'm not sure what I'm having yet but due to the "mild" symptons I'm hoping at least one is a girl.
Keep us posted!!

Congratulations! We don't have twins in our family either, so it was quite a NICE shock!!
My breasts are constantly sore...thought it would have gone away by now, but if that's the worst of it...that's alright with me! I haven't had MS too much, but from the get go have been SUPER tired. Just rest as much as possible!

Congratulations. I had terrible heartburn early on and during my 3rd trimester. My first trimester my breasts were incredibly tender. The twin pregnancy was my only pregnancy so far though. Keep us posted on how you are doing.

Congradualtions!!! I found out 3 days ago at my 16 week ultrasound that I am having twins. It sure explains the horrible morning sickness.
