Hi everyone! Just have a real quick question....We are taking a trip to Ohio in a couple weeks, and I will be 23 weeks on the way up, and 24 weeks on the way back. Anyone have any suggestions on how to stay comfortable through the 12 hour trip??? Also, what do I need to bring with me? Do I need medical records or anything like that? (I all ready checked, Wright Patt (the air force base we will be near) has a level III NICU, so I feel safe about that)
Help???
Stephanie

My OB did not let me go anywhere past 24 weeks, not even an hour drive away. He scared me to much about things , so I obeyed. Are you driving? Flying? Since I did not travel much I can't prepare you, but I think the big thing would be your circulation. You need to take breaks from sitting, standing more frequent. If you have not had any probs, you should be fine- but have you checked with your OB?

WATER!!! I would make sure you drink a TON and bring some healthy snacks. Then all the potty trips will take care of you circulation needs to get up and walk around ;) . I would also bring extra pillows to try to be comfortable...

I asked my OB about it, and all he said was to bring a copy of my medical records "just in case". I will ask my MFM specialist on the 4th...
We will be driving, so how often do you think I need to get out and walk around?
Thanks,
Stephanie
