Has anyone seen or done this? If you send a copy of your child's birth announcement to White House 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, you get a special signed congratulatory announcement from the President. If you did, what does it say, look like?

I tried this twice. Once for my nephew when he was born and again when my twins were born. I've yet to receive anything at all!

I received mine. They are cute. They are the size of your average b-day card. They have the babies' name on them. I believe they are signed by the President and Mrs. Bush if I recall. Nothing to special but they're nice to have.

Mine were generic cards, nothing special. They were signed (or a stamped signature) from Pres and Mrs Bush. It has a cute little saying, but there names are not on it.

Sent out for mine 2 yrs ago and got nothing back either. Maybe I'll wait and send it again when Kerry is in office. ;)

It only took about 3 weeks to get ours. They had the girls names on them. I think it'll make a nice keepsake. I also had a Birthday card sent to my Grandmother for her 91st Birthday. Anyone over 80, I think, can get one. She thought it was great.
