It must be all my extra weight I'm carrying, but my knees are starting to hurt at times.
Also, I laugh everytime I go to the bathroom now. It's like I start to squat and then just have to let myself fall on the bowl cuz my knees hurt and I feel so huge! LOL

YEP! My hips and shoulders are aching me. I'm embarrassed to say this, but dh came out of the bathroom today and asked me what I did to the toilet. The entire seat is broken off! I assume it's from plopping down on it. He went to sit down and the whole seat went sliding out from under him. The house is only 2 yrs old, it should hold up better than that. I'm only about 145lbs now. Of course I blamed it on him! HEHE

My hips have been really bad, but the knees are catching up in the pain contest :) I plop onto the toilet too. I have various items stacked on the back of the toilet (hemorrhoid medicine, air freshner, pantyliners, etc.) and one or more of them will fall off onto the floor every time I plop. Thank goodness there is a counter right next to the toilet that I push off on to get up.

I had the same knee (& hip) problems. My knees hurt & felt very weak. I think it was from a number of things: loss of muscle tone from being on bedrest, extra weight and hormones that your body releases that soften tendons & ligaments in preparation of birth.
My knees felt weak for several weeks after I had the twins. You are always told to lift with your knees, but I couldn't even squat down to begin with.
I even fell with one of the babies right after we got them home. I was leaning down to put one in the swing & my knees collapsed. I had to let myself fall on my butt to protect the baby. It felt wonderful on my already sore body!! So be very carefull afterwards, it may take awhile for you to get your knees back.
I have been anticipating the increased pain--I already have arthritis in my knees, chronic back pain(I am guessing that is arthritis also) and self diagnosed sciatica. So I know as I get bigger, I will be chewing tylenol like candy(not really, but ....)
