So I was on this board a little bit when I was pg and thought I would sort of re-join.
My twins are 4.5 months old now and doing well for the most part. My little girl, Mackenzie, has reflux. One day she started crying through bottles then a few days later just wouldnt eat. Zantac did nothing and we were referred to a GI and put on prevacid. Not sure if prevacid has done anything either...now she will only eat while she is asleep, which is terrible becasue she now has an eating aversion. We are being referred to a speech pathologist and occupational therapist for feeding therapy. What I learned is NEVER give in and feed your baby in their sleep when they have reflux! Anyway, she is still gaining weight OK (not great but OK) and at their 4 month check up weighed 12lbs 3oz. She is rolling over, coos/talks constantly, laughs, squeaks and squeals and is a happy little girl.
My little boy, Jack, is doing great...at their 4 month check up he weighed 13lbs 4oz. He just recently started rolling over, he laughs, squeals, and coos.
They are fairly laid back babies and are so much fun-minues the reflux and sleep feeding junk-.
