Hi all - I wanted to share our wonderful news with you. After 12 weeks of bedrest, I ended up being induced at 38w2d. We went in on Thur., 10/23 and welcomed Sarah Elizabeth at 4:08 am and Erin Kathleen at 4:49am on 10/24. Both girls weighed 6 lbs and are doing wonderfully.

Hello there,
Congratulations to you all. You have done very well, going to term and two healthy big girls, good for you!! How was your labour if you don't mind me asking? The names you have chosen are lovely. Are your girls fraternal or identical? (I am a bit obsessed with this subject at the moment as I have been told first ours were fraternal and then later identical, so who knows). Anyway enjoy these precious days and hope you are managing to get some sleep!
Bye for now.
Liz

Liz,
Hi and thanks for the kind words. Our girls are fraternal. We saw two separate placentas from the beginning, meaning that there was a chance the girls were identical (if egg splits very early). But after meeting them it is clear that they are fraternal (they do not look alike).
I'm going to post more about my labor on the bedrest thread. Good luck with your pregnancy.
