Our beautiful baby boy, Cole Ryan MacPhee, passed away Wednesday August 13th at 3:20pm.
In his short time here, he was able to impact so many people’s lives and experience continuous love. Cole was only able to physically meet a few people who loved him since he was very weak, but he knew there were so many friends, family and even strangers that cared, prayed and thought about him daily. Cole was a brave, courageous boy who had struggled with life for the past few days. Lex, Cole, and I are finally at peace and we know Cole is in a better place. We’ve found 2 poems we’d like to dedicate in memory of our beautiful son and share with all of you.
A life so young
released to heaven...
Left on earth,
we wonder "Why?"
But some are sent
among us briefly...
Some have spirits
meant to fly.
LITTLE ANGELS
When God calls little children to dwell with him above.
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of his love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to His fold,
So He picks a rosebud before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but a few
To make the land of heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "Goodbye."
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind
Must realize God loves children
ANGELS ARE HARD TO FIND!!

Please make checks payable to AMH- SCN in memory of Cole Ryan MacPhee.
(SCN is the NICU Unit of the hospital where Cole and Kyle are taken care of 24 hrs a day)
Again, Lex and I can’t thank everyone enough for the love and support we have received. The last few weeks seem so unreal to us. We have learned to take each minute of every day as it comes. We still ask that you e-mail us for now, since the calls can be very over whelming and we still spend most of our time at Abington Memorial Hospital. Big brother Kyle Shane MacPhee is still in critical condition, but has shown some positive signs of moving forward with his progress. Please keep praying for him.
We thank you for your love and support,
Anita, Lex and Kyle MacPhee
