hi all, MY BABIES ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!
got to be quick as this seat is very uncomfortable!!
They were born on thursday 28th at 7.11am and 7.21am, at exactly 34 weeks. Emily Madison was the first out weighing 5lbs followed by Naomi Isabella who weighed in at 5lbs 4oz. Labour lasted 19 hrs and was great, had to have a little help with the vacuum as i was so tired but i couldnt have wished for better births. They are both so beautiful!!!
Both went to the Nicu but are doing great, Emily should be home with us by Thursday, Naomi is a little slower as it was her sister that broke the water and she wasnt quite ready, but they say at most ,2 weeks.
I am so excited. Lots more to tell but will have to do it later, hope you are all doing good will catch up on the posts soon just wanted to give you all hope.

Congratulations on the birth of your girls. Now we can no longer call you preggy peggy!!!!:D Great weights for going to 34 weeks.
I bet you can't wait to have them home!

What wonderful news. The babies sound like they are at a very good weight and Im sure they will be home with you soon. Big congrats to you. I cant believe us October mommies are almost there.

Congrats on your 2 girls. They seemed to be good weights. I hope for a quick release from the hospital for both of them!

hi all, thanks for all the messages, just a quick update.......
Well my little ones are a week and nearly a day old, they are still in the NICU but are being looked after so well, the nurses are wonderful. Emily is doing quite well, she was taking a bottle at every feed but has slowed down now because she had a bit of jaundice so we were hoping to have her home but plans have changed for a little while. Her sister Naomi is the slower one, she also had jaundice but is off the lights now and all her tubes have been taken out and shes breathing well, again, just like her sister she is not feeding well but she'll get there, they were 6 weeks early after all. As for me i feel great, havent had to take pain killers, am up and walking around great had one day when my back felt bruised from the epidural but apart from that i could do it all over again!!!! lol. Life is wonderful.
