August 19 at 3:55 AM Sawyer Maelyn and at 3:58 Ethan Jack (EJ) was born via C-Section. Sawyer was 7 lbs 6 and half ounces 19 inches long and EJ was 6 lbs 12 ounces and 19 and a half inches long. 14.5 oz of babies!!!!!!! They are so healthy and beautiful. I have had almost no pain with the C-section.

We came home Friday and the babies are doing well. I on the other hand am going through the some REALLY, REALLY rough baby blues that I hope to GD resolve soon. This is the first time that I have been up to writing so that is positive. I'm very blessed to have a lot help without it I could not make it through these baby blues.

Please, please, please if any one ever feels these baby blues which is really your hormones crashing, you MUST talk about it ang get help IMMEDIATLY. I started Zoloft the week before I gave birth but it has not had enough time to kick in.

Linda,
HUGE CONGRATS. I'm soooooooo happy everything went well for you. I'm scheduled for a c-section this friday the 29th and I will be 37 wks 1 day.

It's so wierd that you mentioned the baby blues's as I've already started having them. I actually started crying thinking that these are the last few days that I will feel these two lil ones in there.

I'm very nervous to have the c-section but know considering the babies positions this is the best for them.

Congrats again!
Mia ;)

Congrats Linda!!! The babies are so big! I am happy to hear they are doing so well.

Baby blues are so debilitating, and that you are acknowledging and talking about it is really good. So many moms here on the board have gone through what you are going through. You will feel better, just give yourself some time and do not beat yourself up about it.

Take care and keep us posted on those angels!!

hello there,

my twin girls will be 9 months old tomorrow and I also had some kind of depression after giving birth. crying all day long, did not want to hold them, etc. I was on Paxil med. for almost 2 weeks and then I got better and been great ever since. I remember when the ladies here told me that it will get better, I did not believe it BUT you do get better. now my girls are getting so big, almost walking and I don't know where the days are going. I am HAPPY! Beleive me things will be better.

good luck

Things are so much better. I switched from Zoloft to Prozac and started eating and drinking more (I was so queasy). Finally this combo helped get my hormones back on track. This was the most terrible feeling I have ever had. I did not want my babies, I wanted someone to take them. When they cried I would feel sick because I knew I would have to take care of them.

Now things are great compared to how I felt and the horrible feelings that I had about my babies have been exchanged with love and wanting them more than ever.

Rough road...If this ever happens to anyone else please know that you have support out there. Email me lindabruce1016@msn.com
