Next check up?

I keep reading about babies' 9 month check up... but my pediatrician told me that their next check up is at 10 months...

What's the norm?

Ours is at 9 months.

We go at 9 months too. We get needles then as well.

That is so odd. We've been following the normal vaccination schedule, so I'm confused now.

We have to call back in September for the flu shot, so we'll see...

Our next one is at 9 months, too. But I dont think they get any more shots until theyre a year.

We went at 6 the next is at 8. Maybe because they only get 2 shots at most each time we go?

We dont get shots again until 12 months but our next appt is 9 months. When was the last time they went? It could just be based on that.

I follow the immunization schedule. I don't take my kids to the doc unless they need to be seen for something. I find for me, it's a waste of money... again, if they're sick I'll take them, or if I'm concerned about something.

So we went(will go):

2 weeks
2 mo
4 mo
6 mo
12 mo
18 mo
24 mo
30 mo
kindergarten boosters.

You should follow your dr's recommendation though ... I don't know why they said 10 mos?

I know!!!! We can weigh them at home more or less, but the length thing is going to be a problem. I guess we'll play it by ear but I know Chris will have outgrown his infant carrier by then. Hopefully after we get our minivan.

I guess it doesn't really matter as there are no vaccines you need to get before 12 months anyway, so he probably just likes seeing the babies again after 4 months than 3.

I have a yard stick here.. I need to get it out and measure the kids tonight. I just thought of it!

:snicker: Sorry...no needles at 9 months for us. I'm a scatter brain lately...don't mind me. But we do have a check up :)
