I'm thinking there will be a special place in heaven for me as I had confirmed yesterday that my identicals are both boys!!! Oy!!!
FIVE boys plus one teenage daughter....hahaha...all I can do is laugh...
They were healthy little munchkins showing no signs of TTTS so I am obviously relieved at this point.
We always wanted to find out their sex and now we know. I am a little sad that my shopping for them will be curbed simply because we have so much boy stuff but because we will be having two babies I should get in a little retail therapy, even if it is in the shape of a new pram and extra highchair etc....!!!!!!
My daughter was a bit disappointed (but only for a short while), as we all know once we know the sex there's no amount of hoping or wishing that can change it. I think she just really wanted a sister somewhere in her life!! I've told her she'll just have lots of daughters....my third son who is three and a half was crying as he still wants to 'call' them girls...whatever that means..and he wants us to name them "Spencer and Gordon" after his fav trains from the Thomas series...we've told him that's fine while they are in my tum but they may be called other names when they are out!!
So all is good in my house I feel an amazing sense of calm now I know...I have room shuffling ahead of me and some serious culling of too much stuff as we cram two more children into our house....but it's going to be fun.
I had one of my dearest friends with me for the day yesterday as my DH couldn't come with me...we made a day of it and hit the shops in the big smoke. I got some nice new maternity tops and dresses...after two pregnancies some of my things were getting very 'tired'...I will be heavily pregnant at the height of summer here so the dresses will be great...Ok enough...bye :proud: :proud:
